Friends & Family / Workshop / NADA Pool Party

The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) commissioned Friends & Family to produce a party for their annual art fair during Miami Art Basel 2012. The all-day event featured musical performances, group beach painting, a nail-art booth, sculptures and installations by young and internationally renowned artists.

We built the event around the Deauville Hotel’s spacious pool, bringing in artists, performers, and musicians to exhibit existing work, create site-specific installations, and produce original artworks during the event.

In partnership with Are.na, a new content-sharing platform, we created a unique website for the event that aggregated all social media content broadcast from and about the party in real time.
