Upland, located on Park Avenue South, represents the newest offering from STARR Restaurants'. Designed by Roman and Williams, the furnishings integrate the subtleties and contrasts of white oak, leather, copper, and glass. It was a privilege working with Stephen Starr and Roman and Williams; helping to bring their collective vision to life through custom fabrication was both inspiring and rewarding. For us, working with new materials is as much a challenge as an opportunity. In engaging with copper and glass for the first time we have in turn expanded our capabilities and potential. The end result: a well rounded, comfortable space with an emphasis on design and hand-craftsmanship.
